Syed Shah Khalid

Syed Shah Khalid has work experience in the field of cloud operations engineering. Syed Shah started their career in 2012 at Saba, where they served as a Cloud Support Engineer, providing day-to-day support to hosted customers and managing system administration tasks. Syed Shah also worked as a Cloud Operations Engineer within the Hosting and Cloud Operations team, where they were responsible for implementing new infrastructures, managing existing systems, and automating solutions. In addition to their cloud operations role, they were involved in supporting software pre-sales cycles and go lives. In 2020, they joined BeyondTrust as a Cloud Operations Engineer and later took on the role of Lead Cloud Operations Engineer. In this position, they are responsible for the availability, monitoring, maintenance, incident response and resolution of BeyondTrust Cloud Service. Syed Shah works with multiple teams and organizations to ensure the service's health meets defined SLAs and implements effective solutions for identified problems and preventive maintenance tasks. Syed Shah actively contributes to process improvement and automation in an Agile team.

Syed Shah Khalid obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North West Frontier Province University of Engineering and Technology in 2008. Syed Shah then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Networking at London Metropolitan University from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Azure Administration Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2019, CompTIA Server+ Exam (SK0-004): The Basics from LinkedIn in 2018, and several Microsoft certifications in 2012 such as MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician on Windows 7, MCSA: Windows 7, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional.
