Christel Marchand Aprigliano

Christel Marchand Aprigliano is an international speaker, nonprofit executive, and diabetes advocate, having lived with Type 1 diabetes since 1983. After several years in client engagement roles for multinational organizations, she turned her expertise to diabetes advocacy. Through her efforts to bring the diabetes patient perspective to policymakers and the public, she became a frequent guest speaker internationally and on Capitol Hill, testifying in front of Congress in 2017 and 2019. She holds a BA from McGill University (Montréal, Canada), a MS from University of Maryland Global Campus (Heidelberg, Germany).
