Dr. Peter Wooldridge

Soil Carbon & Agriculture Sector Lead at BeZero

Dr. Peter Wooldridge has diverse work experience in various fields. Dr. Peter is currently working as a Soil Carbon Lead at BeZero Carbon, where they aid participants of the Voluntary Carbon Market in pricing and managing risk. Dr. Peter also worked as a Carbon Rating Scientist at BeZero Carbon, specializing in peatland, soil carbon, and geological/earth sciences.

Before joining BeZero Carbon, Dr. Wooldridge was a PhD researcher at the University of Liverpool. Outside of academia, Dr. Wooldridge worked briefly as a Swim Instructor at Swimtime UK and Altrincham Swimming Club. In these roles, they obtained lifeguard and swim teacher qualifications and delivered swim teaching lessons and life-saving techniques to participants of all ages.

Subsequently, they enrolled in the University of Liverpool, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from 2017 to 2021.
