Cayla Calfee Poore

Cayla Calfee Poore is a dedicated educator and designer with extensive experience in early childhood education and teacher development. Currently serving as a Senior Teacher Education Designer at Bezos Academy since April 2023, Cayla previously held the role of Managing Director for Early Childhood Education and Elementary at Teach For America, where responsibilities included evolving training and support strategies, developing virtual learning experiences, and fostering strategic partnerships. Previous positions included Pre-K Teacher at Evanston/Skokie School District 65, Designer for Early Childhood Education at Teach For America, and various teaching and advocacy roles within the organization. Cayla's educational background includes a Master of Science in Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Indiana University Bloomington.
