Joanna Thompson is a Senior Instructional Designer at Bezos Academy, where expertise in developing instructional materials and overseeing educational support is utilized. Previous roles include Instructional Designer at Amazon and Hy-Vee, Inc., along with a tenure at ACT as a Product Portfolio Manager and Instructional Designer. Joanna has extensive experience in leading instructional development at the University of Northern Iowa and The University of Iowa, focusing on online course design, technology management, and faculty support. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language & Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Northern Iowa.
