Patricia Navarro

Patricia Navarro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Patricia currently works as a Lead Teacher at Bezos Academy, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at Houston Montessori Center, including Instructor from June 2009 to May 2023. Additionally, they worked as a Preschool Teacher at Houston ISD from August 2016 to June 2022. Patricia's expertise in early childhood education is evident from their role as a Toddler Coordinator at The Innovative School from October 2011 to May 2016, where they coordinated curriculum planning, conducted parent workshops, and assisted in staff management and recruitment.

Patricia Navarro holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Child Development from Lone Star College-Montgomery. In addition to their educational background, Patricia has obtained several certifications, including Foundations of Project Management from Google, Teacher Of Bilingual - Spanish from the Texas Education Agency, Classroom Storytelling from Rice University, Special Education EC-12 from the Texas Education Agency, Culturally Relevant Literature from the Houston Montessori Center Inc-Teacher Education, and Summer Institute on Reading, Writing & Cultural Connections from Rice University.
