Sarah Hamilton

Sarah Hamilton has a diverse work experience, starting from 2008 to the present. Sarah has worked as a Lead Montessori Guide at Bezos Academy since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Kindergarten Teacher at The Fay School from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a First and Fifth Grade English Teacher at Fuzhou Concord College of Sino-Canada. Sarah also has experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher at St Paul's School from 2012 to 2018. Additionally, they have worked as a Private Tutor at At Home Tutors from 2015 to 2018. Sarah also has prior experience in the service industry, having worked as a Server Hostess at Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House from 2011 to 2013. In their earlier years, they worked in various roles at North Central College and Northwestern University.

Sarah Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science/History, Political Science, and Secondary Education from North Central College between 2006 and 2010. Sarah also completed a 10-week intensive Spanish program at Instituto de Lengua y Cultura Costaricense in 2008. Prior to their college education, they obtained a High School Diploma from Thurgood Marshall High School from 2002 to 2006, focusing on subjects such as AP English, Psychology, Sociology, and Government. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has obtained several certifications including a Children's House Montessori Teaching Certificate from The Prepared Montessorian (pending completion in 2023), an Elementary School Teacher certification from the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (achieved in 2018), and a TEFL 150 Master's Certificate from Teflen Training College (obtained in 2017).
