Xochitl Ramirez

Xochitl Ramirez has a diverse work experience in the education field. Xochitl started their career as a Bilingual Teacher in the Dallas Independent School District in 2010. During their time there, they developed personalized curriculum and instructional materials, incorporated technology in their lessons, and assessed student performance using various methods.

In 2017, Xochitl joined Cityscape Schools as a Dual Language Teacher. In this role, they introduced students to the Spanish language and achieved high academic growth and first-grade readiness. Xochitl also taught Science and Social Studies content in Spanish to both native and non-native speakers.

Currently, Xochitl is working at Bezos Academy as a Head of School Resident. Xochitl is responsible for developing and implementing individualized Montessori lessons, managing their time efficiently, and maintaining positive relationships with parents.

Xochitl Ramirez obtained a Montessori Certification in Montessori Teacher Education from The Prepared Montessorian in 2022-2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University from 2004-2008, where their field of study was Criminal Justice.
