Barbara Hart

Barbara Hart is the Chief Accounting Officer at BFG Communications. Barbara has been with the company since January 2013 and in their current role since August 2022.

In this role, they were responsible for leading the finance and accounting team to support growth through implementing new systems and driving new processes and procedures to improve controls and management reporting.

Ms. Hart began their career in finance management in a senior role at Reynolds American, Inc. from January 1994 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for the company’s financial business strategy, working with the CEO and equity firm to develop the company’s financial business strategy aimed at growth and continued profitability.

Barbara Hart has a MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Elon University. Barbara is also certified as a public accountant from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners.
