Michael Larson

Michael Larson has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Cascade Asset Management Company since January 1994, where asset management for Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Trust is a primary responsibility. In addition to this role, Larson holds board positions at Republic Services, Ecolab, The Western Asset Funds, AutoNation, and previously at Grupo Televisa, contributing strategic oversight and governance. Larson also plays a leadership role as Co-Chair of the Investment Management Company at Claremont McKenna College and as Chair of the Investment Committee for the University of Washington Investment Management Company (UWINCO). An educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Production Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
