Samer Gharios

Samer Gharios is a seasoned language professional with extensive experience as a translator, subtitler, copywriter, and educator. Currently serving as a subtitler at Plint and a proofreader/reviewer at Insãn, Samer concurrently translates and crafts press releases and social media content for Mouawad, while also translating legal and financial documents at Nasco Insurance Group. Samer's academic background includes a PhD in Translation Studies and a Master's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from Al-Jâmi'ah Al-Lubnaniya. From September 2008 to November 2022, Samer held the position of Associate Professor at Lebanese University, teaching various translation and English language courses, and has also contributed as a freelance translator for Middle East Council on Global Affairs.
