Branwen Trochel

Laboratory Technician at BforCure

Branwen Trochel is a laboratory technician who has worked in fundamental research, within the "Gene Regulation" team (CNRS-CRBM), since January 2021. Branwen is currently studying the co-chaperones of TTT and R2TP of the chaperone HSP90, which is involved in the folding and activity of PIKK protein kinases. Branwen is also working on characterizing an inhibitor of R2TP and studying the biogenesis of PIKKs. In addition, they are investigating the mechanisms of recruitment of PIKKs by TTT and R2TP, as well as studying their protein interactions. Finally, they are conducting research on human colorectal cancer cell lines.

Branwen has a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the Cawthron Institute, where they worked as a laboratory technician from June 2019 to August 2020. Branwen also has experience working as a laboratory technician at the Derriford Research Facility from January 2018 to March 2018.
