They also characterized an inhibitor of R2TP and studied the biogenesis of PIKKs. In addition, they studied the mechanisms by which PIKKs are recruited by TTT and R2TP, and investigated their protein interactions. Their work was presented in English at weekly lab meetings.

Prior to this, John-Ross worked as a technicienne de laboratoire en biologie moléculaire at the Cawthron Institute from June 2019 to August 2020. They also worked as a technicienne de laboratoire at the Derriford Research Facility from January 2018 to March 2018.
