Mary Wilkerson

Mary Wilkerson has over 25 years of work experience in accounting, primarily in the real estate industry. Mary has held various leadership positions in multiple companies, including B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, MAG Partners LP, Weller Development Company, Corporate Office Properties Trust, Wilkerson Accounting Group LLC, Walton Development and Management, Thayer Lodging, Brookfield Hotel Properties, General Growth Properties, and Prime Retail.

Mary's most recent role was as the VP Corporate Controller at B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, where they were responsible for managing the Accounting Department and overseeing financial reporting and analysis for the hotel properties.

Before that, they served as the Vice President of Accounting at MAG Partners LP and Weller Development Company, where they handled financial management and accounting functions.

Mary also worked as a Senior Accounting Manager at Corporate Office Properties Trust and Thayer Lodging, Brookfield Hotel Properties. In addition, they founded their own company, Wilkerson Accounting Group LLC, which specialized in real estate accounting and private equity.

Throughout their career, Mary has demonstrated expertise in property accounting, asset accounting, financial reporting, budget preparation, and back-office accounting support.

Mary Wilkerson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Real Estate at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their educational background, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant in November 1997 from the Maryland institution.
