Jorge Soto

Jorge Soto is a seasoned Project Accountant with extensive experience in project financial management across various industries, including engineering, architecture, and mining. Currently at BGC Engineering Inc. since June 2019, Jorge oversees project setup and billing processes for over 200 pipelines and mining projects. Previous roles include positions at Kasian Architecture Interior Design and Planning and DIALOG, where responsibilities involved project billing and performance monitoring for more than 100 architectural projects and an average of 150 projects, respectively. Earlier in the career, Jorge held roles at ERM: Environmental Resources Management and Klohn Crippen Berger, focusing on project setups and billing maintenance. With a foundation in accounting earned from Universidad Simón Bolívar, Jorge’s expertise encompasses accounts receivable management and internal auditing, bolstered by experiences from various other firms, including KGHM International and Goldcorp Inc.
