Ryan Severino

Ryan Severino, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Economist and Head of Research at BGO since 2023. As an Adjunct Professor at both Columbia University and New York University since 2009, Ryan has contributed significantly to academic and professional fields. Prior roles include Chief Economist at JLL (2016-2023) and Senior Economist and Director of Research at Reis (2009-2016). Ryan gained prior experience as Associate Director of Research at MetLife Real Estate Investments, Director of Investment Strategy and Market Research at Starwood Capital Group, and Director of Investment Research at Prudential Real Estate Investors. Early career positions include Senior Research Analyst at UBS and various analyst roles at Madison International Realty and Prudential Real Estate Investors. Ryan holds an MA in International Finance and Economics from Columbia University and a BS in Finance, Japanese, and Economics from Georgetown University.
