Kara Walsh

Kara (Minnehan) Walsh, MSW has extensive experience in strategic communications and program management. Kara served as the Managing Director at BGSF, leading sales initiatives to drive organizational growth. Prior to this, they held communication leadership roles at The Kind Company, Asurion, and Auburn Pharmaceutical, where they developed internal and external communication strategies, established employee engagement programs, and led change management campaigns. Kara also has experience in documentary filmmaking, social work internships, and program coordination, showcasing their diverse skill set and dedication to community impact.

Kara (Minnehan) Walsh, MSW obtained their High School Diploma from Newton North High School in 2003. Kara then earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Public Policy in Global Context from Whittier College in 2007. Kara later pursued a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Portland State University, graduating in 2013. Additionally, they studied Spanish Language and Literature at Universitat de Barcelona in 2005.
