Gregoria Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gregoria began their career as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Crate & Barrel in 2013. In 2014, they had internships at both the City of Boston, where they worked as an IT Project Management Intern, and at PlumChoice, where they served as a Help Desk Technician. Gregoria also gained experience in IT support as an IT Support Intern at Harvard University.

In 2015, Gregoria worked as a Health Careers Youth Leader at Sociedad Latina and as a College Store Associate (Work Study) at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.

Gregoria then had temporary roles at Joslin Diabetes Center in 2016 as a Diabetes Technology Coordinator and IT Intern.

From 2017 to 2018, Gregoria worked as an Administrative Assistant at Chrysalis Health, where they performed various tasks such as answering calls, checking patients in and out, and verifying insurance.

In 2018, they became a Financial Counselor at Codman Square Health Center, where they were responsible for screening patients, collecting payments, and managing billing inquiries.

Currently, Gregoria holds the position of Patient Benefits Coordinator at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, which they started in 2021.

Gregoria Ruiz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Technology from Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BSBA in Global Business/Information Systems from Suffolk University from 2012 to 2014. Gregoria completed their high school education and received a Diploma from Boston Community Leadership Academy between 2008 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Gregoria obtained the certification of MTA: Security Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2016.
