Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program
Lucas Candace has extensive experience in social services and operations management. Currently serving as a Family Partner at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program since September 2010, Lucas supports homeless families with young children facing various challenges, focusing on family-centered care and goal attainment. Alongside this role, Lucas has concurrently worked as the Manager of Operations and Lead Care Coordinator at MLS Home Repairs since January 2000, overseeing daily operations and vendor negotiations. Previous experience includes serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant in private practice from December 2004 to December 2009, providing care to the elderly and special needs populations, and working as an Admin/Coordinator/Instructor at Servol LTD from January 1992 to July 2000, where responsibilities included overseeing a team in the implementation of an Adolescent Development Program. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Springfield College and a certificate in Community Health Center Management from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School.
