Hamza Qureshi

Hamza Qureshi has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Hamza currently holds the position of VP, Head of Originations at BHG Financial starting from September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at BHG Financial as a Senior Director of Marketing Analytics from August 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining BHG Financial, Hamza worked at LendingClub from 2017 to 2020. Hamza held various roles, including Head of Repeat Customer Acquisition, Member & Marketplace, Senior Manager of Growth Analytics, Manager of Marketing Analytics, and Senior Analyst of Marketing Analytics. Throughout their tenure at LendingClub, Hamza was responsible for driving acquisition, engagement, and growth initiatives for the company's customer base. Hamza led teams, implemented and evaluated credit risk initiatives, and successfully launched acquisition channels.

Prior to LendingClub, Hamza worked at Elevate from 2016 to 2017 in roles such as Risk Analyst II and Risk Analyst. During their time at Elevate, they focused on pricing analytics, strategy development, targeting models, and fraud prevention measures. Hamza successfully reduced delinquencies and implemented effective segmentation strategies.

Hamza Qureshi completed their education at North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytics from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Lahore School of Economics from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Hamza also obtained several certifications. In January 2016, they became a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9. Hamza also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification in December 2015. In the same month, they obtained the SAS Certified Predictive Modeler using SAS Enterprise Miner 13 certification. In October 2015, they achieved the SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling certification. Furthermore, they obtained the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 certification in August 2015. Hamza has also completed Professional Communication Skills Training, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
