Benjamin R. Nordstrom M.D.

Benjamin R. Nordstrom, MD, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Benjamin R. currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Behavioral Health Group - BHG since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Phoenix House, where they held multiple roles including President from August 2015 to March 2019, SVP, Chief Clinical Officer from June 2016 to December 2017, and VP, Medical Director for Program Development from August 2015 to June 2016. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as Faculty at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, and from 2007 to 2011, they held a Faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania.

Benjamin R. Nordstrom, MD, PhD, received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2001 from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where they studied Medicine. Prior to this, they obtained their PhD and MA degrees in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Benjamin R. Nordstrom is Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry and General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.
