Pia Romsøe Madsen

Pia Romsøe Madsen has extensive experience in the field of finance. Pia started their career at KPMG in 2004, where they worked as a Manager responsible for planning and executing audits of small and medium-sized companies. Pia also participated in audits of large companies and was involved in the preparation of financial reports and consolidation of financial statements.

In 2014, Pia joined EY Denmark as a Manager, where they continued to perform audits and led smaller audit teams. Pia was also involved in the preparation of annual reports and consolidation of financial statements for both small and large companies.

Since 2014, Pia has been working at BHJ, initially as a Financial Controller. Pia'sresponsibilities included compiling monthly financial reports and annual reports, consolidation of financial statements, financial controlling of subsidiaries, and leading the finance department. Pia later held roles as a Finance Manager and Global Finance Manager, and currently serves as the Finance Director.

Pia Romsøe Madsen attended Amtsgymnasiet i Sønderborg from 2000 to 2003, where they studied as a Matematisk Student. Pia then attended Sønderborg Handelsskole from 2003 to 2004 for a one-year HHX program. Pia continued their education at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they completed a degree in HD - regnskab og økonomistyring from 2004 to 2008. Pia further pursued their education at the same university and obtained their Cand. merc. aud. degree from 2008 to 2011.
