Ashley van Niekerk

Ashley van Niekerk possesses extensive experience in mining systems and electrical engineering, having worked at BHP since November 2013. Throughout this tenure, Ashley advanced from an Undergraduate Engineer in Track & Signals to roles including Graduate Electrical Engineer in various capacities, and ultimately to Senior Technical Specialist - Mining Systems. Additional key positions held include Specialist OT Technical Engineer - Autonomous Haulage and Specialist Technical Engineer - Mines Mobile Control Systems. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng. Hons) in Electrical Power and Renewable Energy from Murdoch University, along with several professional development credentials, including completion of the BHP Leadership Program and training in Apollo Root Cause Analysis, ICAM Facilitator Training, and ITIL Foundations.
