Brenton Parolo is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in tailings management, project engineering, and civil construction. Currently serving as a Tailings Specialist - Governance & Technical Stewardship at BHP since October 2016, Brenton provides technical guidance for tailings facilities and manages consultant engagements. Prior roles include Project Engineer at Georgiou Precast, where Brenton managed precast concrete projects, and positions with Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon (Clough), contributing to major LNG projects in various capacities, including Civil Construction and Design Engineer. Brenton's earlier experience includes geotechnical work at Golder Associates and several vacation student roles in civil and geotechnical engineering. Brenton holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Tailings Management.
