Jeffrey Geronimo

Jeffrey Geronimo is a seasoned Mining Engineer with extensive experience in underground ventilation and mine infrastructure management. Currently serving as an Underground Ventilation Officer for BHP since March 2022, responsibilities include preparing and implementing ventilation system plans and overseeing projects related to ventilation raises. Previous roles include acting as a Mine Infrastructure Engineer and working with Paramina Earth Technologies as a Dassault Systèmes Solutions Specialist, where expertise in mine digitalization was advanced. Early career experiences include working as a technician with Sandvik on the OceanaGold Didipio Project and as a trainee at Philex Mining Corporation, gaining comprehensive exposure to underground mining operations. Jeffrey Geronimo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
