Tom Whiteside

Tom Whiteside has had extensive work experience in the foodservice and purchasing industry. Tom started their career in 1989 at Ledyard Company, Inc. where they worked as a Purchasing & Merchandising Manager until 2000. Tom then joined Southstream Seafoods, Inc. as a Nat'l Sales Manager from 2000 to 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Pacific Agri Products, Inc. in Sales & Purchasing. Currently, Tom is employed at BiRite Foodservice Distributors where they have held various roles including Category Manager from 2009 to 2013, Vice President of Purchasing from 2013 to 2019, and currently serves as the Vice President of Merchandising & Procurement.

Tom Whiteside completed an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Cabrillo College in 1987. Tom then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from UCLA between the years 1987 and 1989.
