Leigh Maidment

Leigh Maidment has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. They began their career as a Radio Engineer at Nortel Networks in 1999 and worked there until 2006. Following that, Leigh joined Ericsson as a Radio Network Optimization specialist from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they transitioned to Optus as an RF Consultant and remained there until 2011. In 2012, Leigh briefly worked as a Quant Developer at Corsario Partners and as a Quant at Pamli Capital Management. Since 2013, Leigh has been with Biarri Networks, initially serving as an Optimization Consultant and later being promoted to the role of VP Engineering.

Leigh Maidment obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic with first-class honors from The University of Western Australia from 1994 to 1999. During the same period, Leigh also completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the same university. Later on, from 2011 to 2013, Leigh pursued a Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE) at Columbia University, focusing on the field of study of Quantitative Finance.
