Devere Kutscher

DeVere Kutscher has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. DeVere began their career as a Bilingual Customer Support Consultant at Aspect Software, where they provided technical support and consulting services for global call centers. DeVere then moved on to Capital One Financial, Inc., where they worked as a Management Trainer, facilitating training courses for new team managers. Following this, Kutscher joined Child Care Aware of America as the Director of Marketing and Communications, managing a nationwide marketing campaign and serving as the organization's spokesperson.

Kutscher later worked at MiCash, Inc. as a Program Manager, overseeing the launch of prepaid debit card products aimed at the Hispanic market. DeVere then joined Microfinance International Corp. as an Assistant Vice President, managing a fintech initiative that integrated money transfer technology with mobile networks and retail systems.

In 2009, Kutscher joined the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), initially serving as the Chief of Staff & SVP of Strategy. DeVere played a key role in the organization's turnaround, securing communications and media engagements for the USHCC president and directing televised sessions with major presidential candidates. Kutscher also held the positions of Executive Director - USHCC Foundation, where they managed all programs and operations, and Chief Strategy Officer & SVP of Communications, providing strategic guidance and advising the President & CEO.

After their tenure at USHCC, Kutscher joined Public Private Strategies as a Senior Advisor, where they built and launched national and statewide coalitions and led the launch of the Open to All campaign. DeVere then worked as a Publisher at Affinity Inc., providing creative and strategic direction for their LGBTQ-focused publication.

Most recently, Kutscher served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Training & Certification at BiasSync. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at Phi Gamma Delta.

DeVere Kutscher has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Spanish from Davidson College. DeVere also holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management. In addition, DeVere has obtained a certification as an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator (QA) from IDI, LLC in September 2022. DeVere is also a Certified Diversity Executive, certified by the Institute for Diversity Certification in 2020.
