Richard Morson

Richard Morson is currently the CEO at Bibby Distribution. Prior to that, they were with Menzies Distribution and Direct Workforce. Richard has been in the logistics industry for over 20 years.

Morson has a proven track record in successfully turnaround businesses. Richard was appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Direct Workforce in April 2016 to help review the strategic direction and trading performance of the company. The business was successfully disposed of in December 2016.

In July 2012, Morson became the Chief Executive Officer for Bibby Distribution. Under their leadership, the company went through a significant turnaround across all aspects of the Balanced Scorecard. This was achieved through an organisational restructure, operational efficiency projects, commercial review and new business wins, data lead analytics and systems compliance, divestment of non-core activity, living the values to engage colleagues and improving communication through social media, flipping the pyramid, and fleet procurement and innovation.

Thanks to Morson's dedication and hard work, Bibby Distribution was successfully sold to Menzies Distribution and Endless LLP in December 2020.

Richard Morson has a FCA from ICAEW 2011, an ACA from ICAEW 2001, and a Bsc(Hons)2:1 in Accountancy and Financial Management from Loughborough University. Richard also went to Greenhead College and King James.
