Agapios Barmpounis MSc MIET

Agapios Barmpounis MSc MIET has worked for a number of companies since 2008. Agapios started their career at Velti as a Java Software Engineer in 2008. In 2009, they moved to EADS-3SIGMA, where they held the roles of Operations Manager and Operations Department. In 2013, they joined Next Step Ltd as a Software Engineer. In 2014, they moved to Mozaik Hospitality as a .Net Software Engineer. In 2015, they joined JR TECHNOLOGIES, where they were a Solution Architect and Senior .Net/Java Software Engineer - Team Lead. In 2020, they moved to Sky Express Airlines as a Solution Architect. Most recently, in 2022, they joined BibeCoffee as a Software Engineer Team Lead.

Agapios Barmpounis holds an MSc in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University London, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Brighton, obtained between 2004 and 2007. Agapios also holds certifications in Comprehensive JAVA and Web Application Security from SCADEMY Secure Coding Academy Ltd., Design, Development & Operations on Datastax Enterprise Cassandra from WidasConcepts, and JAVA Performance Tuning Workshop from Kodewerk Ltd.
