Robbert de Groot

Robbert de Groot is a professional with extensive experience in economic development, public policy, and business strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Public Policy & Startup Officer at Founded since June 2023, Robbert focuses on creating a favorable environment for startups and scale-ups through collaboration with various stakeholders. In addition, Robbert holds positions as a trainee member of the supervisory board at Biblionet Drenthe and as an account manager for economic development at Gemeente Groningen, where the emphasis is on driving the city’s economic agenda. Previously, Robbert worked as a business developer at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, contributing to innovative energy solutions, and held several roles in business development and event management at Forum Groningen. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from Open Universiteit and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hanze.
