Femke Den Boer

Femke den Boer is the Director of the Centre for Science and Culture at Universiteit Utrecht since September 2019, fostering engagement between academic researchers, students, and the public in science and culture. Femke serves as Chair of the Supervisory Board at Cibap vakschool voor verbeelding and holds multiple supervisory roles, including memberships at NPO, Bibliotheek Utrecht, and Theaterfestival Boulevard. A former Dean at AKV|St. Joost, Femke has also contributed as an advisor to the Raad voor Cultuur. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Theatre, Film, and Televisionscience from Utrecht University and participation in the International Directors Programme at INSEAD. Recent education includes attendance at Harvard University in October 2023.
