Bjorn Michiels

Bjorn Michiels has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. From 2001 to 2008, they held various roles at Proximus, including Account Manager, Key Account Manager, and Channel Manager. In 2008, they joined BICS as a Carrier Relations Manager for Europe, and in 2016, they became the Head of Voice and Telco Cloud APAC, responsible for managing carrier relations with leading APAC operators. Bjorn has been successful in bridging the gap between traditional Telco needs and the digital reality, and has steadily grown BICS' market share in Asia.

Bjorn Michiels completed their Master's degree in Applied Economics at KU Leuven from 1995 to 2000. Bjorn then pursued advanced studies in International Business Economics at Université Paris-Sorbonne from 2000 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained another Master's degree in Applied Economics from the University of Bristol from 1999 to 2000.
