Björn van Brussel

Björn Van Brussel started their work experience in 2001 as a Core Network Administrator at Proximus, where they were responsible for maintaining and configuring the MSC & HLRs and international signalling gateways. Björn also covered connections to messaging systems, the access network, and customer billing chain. In 2007, they joined BICS as a Service Engineer, focusing on provisioning and testing messaging services. Björn later became a Senior Service Engineer, with a focus on legacy SS7 products and 4G/LTE roaming services. In 2020, they were promoted to Platform Operations Manager at BICS.

Björn Van Brussel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics from KaHo Sint Lieven, Campus Rabot, Ghent, from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended St Willebrordus Institute in Temse from 1991 to 1997, studying Economics - Mathematics.
