Burak Cansizoglu

Burak CANSIZOGLU has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Burak started their career as an Infrastructure System Engineer at Finansbank in 2008. Later, they worked as an Infrastructure Design Engineer at IBTECH A.S. where they designed virtualization cycles for Unix/Linux servers and consolidated and migrated systems under IBM Aix and VMware.

In 2011, Burak joined Nokia as a Senior Professional Services Consultant, where they provided software development services and served as a consultant. Burak then transitioned to the role of Software Developer.

Following their tenure at Nokia, Burak worked as a Cloud Consultant at Realdolmen. Burak was responsible for assisting with pre-sales and sales activities, designing and implementing IoT Labs on AWS, and preparing documents for cloud and IoT projects.

In 2018, Burak took on the role of Solutions Architect at FOD Beleid en Ondersteuning. Here, they designed centralized and scalable solutions for Belgium Master Data on the Belgium Federal Government Cloud and integrated various database solutions.

Burak then worked as a Cloud Architect at AXA Group Operations and AXA Bank Belgium, where they focused on designing and implementing cloud environments, migration plans, and application onboarding.

Burak most recently worked as a DevOps/SRE Engineer at Airties, where they served in a cross-functional role and contributed to the DevOps and SRE practices within the organization.

Currently, Burak holds the position of Cloud Architect at BICS, where they are responsible for designing and implementing cloud architectures.

Burak CANSIZOGLU holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi/Middle East Technical University. Burak also obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Sakarya University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Burak CANSIZOGLU has acquired several certifications in various fields. Burak is an AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate. Burak also holds certifications from Red Hat, CloudBees, The Linux Foundation, Docker, Inc., and VMware, including Certified Jenkins Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Docker Certified Associate, VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization, and VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations.
