Dirk Versavel

Dirk Versavel has extensive work experience in the field of networking and engineering. Dirk most recently worked at Proximus from 2016, holding the positions of Industrial Connectivity Engineer and Senior Security Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at BICS as a Senior IP/MPLS/DATA CENTER engineer starting in 2013. Dirk also worked at Belgacom as a Backbone Migration Specialist from 2012 to 2013. Dirk gained experience at the European Commission as a Design/Test Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they held the role of Senior IP Engineer at Scarlet from 2009 to 2010. Dirk also worked at Nextiraone as a Senior Networking Engineer Cisco from 2007 to 2009, and at Belgacom Mobile (Proximus) as a Network Design Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they were an IP Backbone Design Engineer at Proximus - Belgacom Mobile from 2005. Before transitioning into the networking field, Dirk worked at Agfa as a Network Support Engineer from 2004 to 2005 and at Johnson & Johnson as a LAN Network Engineer from 2003 to 2004.

Dirk Versavel pursued their education from 1984 to 1987 at Technicum Antwerp, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
