Gabriel Salvate

Gabriel Salvate has extensive experience in the field of business development and sales in the IoT (Internet of Things) industry. Gabriel is currently serving as the Director of Strategy Business Development at BICS since May 2022.

Prior to their current role, Gabriel held a position at Telit, where they worked for almost a decade. Gabriel started as a Regional Sales Manager for Latin America from September 2013 to February 2019. In this role, they successfully managed strategic accounts, distribution channels, and provided guidance and support to partners in advancing the sales cycle. Gabriel then took on the role of Business Development Director from March 2019 to April 2022. In this capacity, they led sales and pre-sales teams focused on digital manufacturing, driving double-digit growth. Gabriel also played a key role in designing the go-to-market strategy and implementing partnership programs for various IoT initiatives.

Before Telit, Gabriel worked at iTech - Intelligent Technologies as an Enterprise Sales Manager from October 2011 to August 2013. There, they led a team of sales executives focused on the industrial IoT ecosystem and educated customers about IoT through market research, data analysis, and use cases across various verticals.

Gabriel's early experience includes working at Festo as an Inside Technical Sales representative from January 2008 to January 2009. Their responsibilities included identifying sales opportunities, creating quotations, and managing the RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.

Overall, Gabriel Salvate's work experience spans senior leadership positions in business development and sales, with a particular focus on IoT solutions for industrial manufacturing and digital transformation.

Gabriel Salvate completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Industrial Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from 2008 to 2013. Gabriel then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, graduating in 2017. Recently, Gabriel earned a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Universidad de Alcalá, finishing in 2020.
