Chris Hobbs is the current Director of Training Delivery & Operations at BICSI. Chris has over seven years of experience in project management, developing project management processes and procedures, testing protocols, safety plans, and bidding processes to reduce overhead and accuracy of project quotations. Chris has successfully completed over 300 projects and grossed over $9 million in revenue during their tenure.
Chris has designed ICT systems for industrial, commercial, and military customers. Chris has also developed RFPs for various companies, such as MCR Safety and FTN Financial. Chris led the $1.1 million Memphis Shelby County Airport Authority fiber optic infrastructure team that installed 23 miles of fiber throughout the airport terminal and six external buildings to support the new IP camera infrastructure. In addition, they were responsible for the $1.7 million Tennessee Air National Guard – Memphis program to install new cable infrastructure in a new twelve-building campus environment with redundant fiber and copper backbone systems.
As Program Manager for the $4.5 million Air National Guard ISP rewire program, Chris oversaw ten air national guard base rewire projects spread across the United States. Chris was also Project Manager for the Toyota Plant fiber and copper backbone installation, which included placing customer supplied cabinets in various locations throughout the plant. In addition to managing projects, Chris has also been responsible for developing training programs for technicians to ensure EIA/TIA and company standards were delivered on projects. Chris has also created wireless designs using predictive and passive surveys for campus and industrial environments.
