Tara Gelb

Associate Director, Translational Sciences at Bicycle Therapeutics

Tara Gelb is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in translational sciences and pharmacology. Currently serving as Associate Director of Translational Sciences at Bicycle Therapeutics since June 2018, Tara has progressed through various roles, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Dermatology Branch of the National Institutes of Health from 2015 to May 2018, focusing on novel skin cancer treatments and achieving the Fellows Award for Research Excellence for three consecutive years. Tara earned a PhD in Pharmacology from Georgetown University, with a thesis on the role of mGlu1 receptors in human melanoma proliferation. A Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics was obtained from the University of Rochester.
