Piyush Mishra has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Piyush began with a summer internship at the University of Cambridge, where they focused on collocating tree data from LiDAR and GPS datasets. In 2013, they also had a summer internship at The University of Edinburgh, where they worked on forest remote sensing projects, including deforestation detection in Cameroon and drought signal detection in Southern Europe.
In 2014, Piyush completed another summer internship, this time at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. Their work involved studying sub-daily precipitation extremes in major global urban areas using satellite rainfall observations.
From 2016 to 2017, Piyush worked as a Project Intern at DHI, where they concluded their M.Sc. thesis on implementing probabilistic flood forecasting systems in Croatia.
In 2021, Piyush took on the role of a Game Developer and created an endless runner game using Unity Game Engine and C# language.
Currently, since April 2022, Piyush is working as a Software Engineer at Bidgely.
Piyush Mishra's education history includes a diverse range of programs and degrees. Starting in 2010, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where they studied until 2014. After completing their undergraduate studies, Piyush enrolled in the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Water Science and Engineering. Their specialization during this degree was in Flood Risk Management. More recently, in 2021 and 2022, Piyush attended two coding bootcamps, namely Scaler and Coding Ninjas Career Camp, to enhance their skills as a Full Stack Web Developer and expand their knowledge in coding.
