Katherine Harrison

Katherine Harrison is an experienced heritage consultant currently serving as an Associate Heritage Consultant at Bidwells since May 2023. Prior roles include Senior Conservation Officer positions at West Northamptonshire Council and South Northamptonshire Council, as well as a Senior Heritage Consultant at Janus Conservation Ltd. Katherine has successfully managed the research, consultation, and adoption processes for over 20 Conservation Areas and has provided expert commentary on Development Management applications concerning conservation areas and Grade II* Listed Buildings. Earlier in the career, Katherine worked as a Principal Heritage & Design Consultant at Bidwells and as an Antiquarian Book Cataloguer at The Old Hall Bookshop, where specialized knowledge in antiquarian books and manuscripts was applied. Educational qualifications include an MSt in Buildings History, Building Conservation, Architecture, and Heritage from the University of Cambridge, a PgCert in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University, and a Bachelor's Degree in History of Art from Goldsmiths, University of London.
