Ashley Bennett

VP, Clinical Training at Bierman ABA

Ashley Bennett is currently the VP of Clinical Training at Bierman ABA. Ashley has over 10 years of experience working in the field of behavior analysis with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Prior to their current position, Ashley served as the Regional Clinical Director Southwest Region, Vice President of Clinical Services, and Clinical Director of Behavior Analytic Services at Touchstone Health Services. In these roles, Ashley was responsible for executing organizational plans to develop and manage both clinical and operational functions of Touchstone Health Services’ Autism Center of Excellence, serving over 1200 children with ASD in home, clinic, school, and community settings. Ashley also developed Comprehensive and Focused ABA Programs, providing evidence-based treatment for children with acute behavioral and developmental needs. In addition, Ashley led a team of professionals that provided a spectrum of services to children with ASD and their families including care coordination, focused and comprehensive ABA, counseling, social skills, family education, and sibling groups.

Before Touchstone Health Services, Ashley was the Clinical Director/Director of Research, Training and Development at Intercare Therapy where they cultivated a culture of excellence, focusing on humility, authenticity, curiosity, support, integrity, and professional growth for over 70 healthcare professionals. Ashley also developed and delivered trainings and professional development direct staff, organizational staff, and community-based providers. In their role at Intercare Therapy, Ashley also mentored new leaders through a variety of methods including goal setting, scaffolding, and direct coaching with feedback. Ashley researched, designed, and created new lines of business within Behavior Analytic Services to better serve the children and their families.

Ashley started their career in the field of behavior analysis as a Data Analyst at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Ashley then became a Clinical supervisor at Wellspring before becoming a Behavior Therapist at The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD). Ashley has also served as a Resource Teacher at District 126. In each of these roles, Ashley has gained valuable experience working with children with ASD and their families to provide evidence-based services that improve the quality of their lives.

Ashley Bennett has a PhD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis, which they received in 2010. Ashley also has a Bachelor of Education from Gonzaga University in Special Education and Teaching, which they received in 2000.
