Nicole Shantè White

Nicole Shantè White is an experienced spoken word instructor and teaching artist with a diverse background in arts education and youth mentorship. Currently affiliated with multiple organizations including Bank Street College of Education, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Sadie Nash Leadership Project, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, Nicole develops curricula, manages classroom dynamics, and collaborates with educational staff to enhance learning outcomes for students. Nicole holds a Bachelor's Degree in Poetry and Women's Studies from Georgia State University and a high school degree from Milwaukee High School of the Arts, emphasizing dance and creative writing. Throughout the career, Nicole has effectively led workshops, mentoring programs, and residency initiatives that foster artistic growth, leadership, and community engagement among youth.
