Sindy Nelson

Sindy Nelson is currently the Director of Career & College Success at Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence, where Sindy leads key partnerships to enhance services for High School and Post-Secondary youth. Previously, Sindy worked as a Team Leader for the Mentor 2.0 program and as an Academic Tutor specializing in ELL/ESL/Reading & Writing. With a background in Spanish Language Analytics and Bilingual Content & Marketing Consulting, Sindy has a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and extensive experience in fundraising, community outreach, and educational curriculum development.
