Director of Innovative Programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta

Megan Arthur is the Director of Innovative Programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. Megan has a background in helping others, having worked as a shelter advocate for victims of domestic violence and an intern for Families First, where they created marketing materials for 11 family service programs. In addition to their work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Megan is also a guest lecturer on the topic of "Raising a Sexually Healthy Adolescent."

Megan Arthur attended St. Augustine High School, where they completed the Cambridge AICE Program Diploma. Megan then went on to earn their Bachelor's Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida. Megan has also received certification as a Certified Family Life Educator from the University of Florida, a Suicide Prevention certification from Meggen Sixbey, Licensed Mental Health Counselor at the University of Florida, and a United Marriage Enrichment Trainer certification from Victor Harris, Professor and Extension Specialist at the University of Florida.

Their manager is Kara Stimpson, VP of Program Services. Megan Arthur works with Sayury Antonio - Customer Relations Supervisor, Valeska Gutierrez - Events & Activities Coordinator, and Natalie Mundy - Senior Director of Program Services.
