Byron Zerby

Byron Zerby has extensive experience in event management and coordination, currently serving as an inbound and outbound freight coordinator and human resources/staffing coordinator at Big Easy since November 2020. Prior to this role, Byron worked at Marriott Hotels from 2010 to 2020, holding various positions such as Assistant Event Service Manager, where leadership of a team of 20 was pivotal in managing large-scale events, and Event Services Supervisor, responsible for overseeing event preparation and staff performance. Byron's career began within the Marriott system as a Red Coat Concierge and progressed through roles including Food and Beverage Specialist, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in hospitality management. Education was completed at The University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
