Joni Lui Phr, Cir

Joni Lui, PHR, CIR has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they worked as a Special Projects Manager at Toronto Image Works until 2015. Joni then joined ScribeAmerica as a Recruiter from October 2018 to June 2019. In 2019, Joni became a People Generalist at Whitley Penn, where they worked until April 2022. Currently, Joni is employed at Big Fish Games as a Senior Coordinator in the People & Culture department, focusing on areas such as DEI, culture & engagement, onboarding, and automation/process improvement.

Joni Lui, PHR, CIR, obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Studio Arts from York University during the period of 2005-2009. In addition, they pursued Psychology at the same university from 2004-2007 but did not obtain a degree in that field. Joni Lui has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. Joni obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in January 2022 and a Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) certification from AIRS powered by ADP in February 2020. Moreover, they have obtained additional certifications such as a Certificate in Managing the Hybrid Workforce from HRCI in August 2022, Employing Abilities @Work from SHRM Foundation in July 2020, and Veteran's at Work from SHRM Foundation in July 2020.
