Lydia Mansel has been working in the media industry since 2013. Lydia began as an Editorial Intern at The Daily Meal, then worked as a Copy Editor at Vogue, Social + Editorial Manager at Draper James, Social Media Editor at Elite Daily, Senior News Editor at Elite Daily, Copy Editor at Elite Daily, Social Media Editor at Garden & Gun Magazine, LLC, Social Media Director at Draper James, Content Writer at The Advanced Business Metrics Agency, and Founder of Just Packed. In 2021, they became Head of Content at Big Human.

Lydia Mansel obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in American/United States Studies/Civilization from William & Mary between 2010 and 2014. Lydia also studied English Literature (British and Commonwealth) at the University of Exeter from 2012 to 2013. Prior to this, Lydia attended Central Virginia Governor's School for Science and Technology from 2008 to 2010, and Liberty High School from 2006 to 2010.
