Anna Valsamaki

Anna Valsamaki has extensive work experience in the language services industry. Anna is currently the VP of Global Operations at BIG Language Solutions, a position they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Protranslating - A BIG Language Company, including Director of Localization Program Management, Localization Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Localization Project Manager. Anna also worked at Alpha CRC, where they were a Senior Localization Project Manager and Localization Project Manager. Anna'sresponsibilities included managing large teams, liaising with stakeholders, and preparing projects for production. Anna began their career at Inletteras Translation and Communication Services as a Translator and later as an In-house Translator. Anna's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, localization, and translation.

Anna Valsamaki has a diverse education history. In 2023-2025, they pursued an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration and Management at the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Prior to that, they completed an MA degree in Translation Theory and Practice at UCL in 2007-2008. In 2001-2006, they obtained a Diploma in Foreign Languages, Linguistics, English, Economics, Political Sciences, Law, and EU External Relations from Ionian University. Additionally, they acquired a BSc degree in Foreign Languages, Translation, and Interpreting from Ionian Panepistimion during the same period. Moreover, they also gained a Diploma in Linguistics, English, Economics, Political Sciences, Law, and EU Relations from Ionian University. Anna Valsamaki possesses a certification named PRINCE2 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
