Harlow Clark

Harlow Clark has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career in 1992 as a Writer/Editor at Harlow S. Clark, where they researched, wrote, and edited books, articles, and marketing materials. They also worked as a journalist, covering local politics, public meetings, festivals, and technical topics.

In 2005, Harlow joined Phone Directories Company as a Yellow Page Ads Editor, responsible for editing and proofreading ads and processing customer corrections. They also did a final comparison between layouts and printed ads before publication.

They later worked at Sento as a Customer Service Representative/Claims Agent. In this role, they helped customers understand and use their optical insurance benefits and assisted with insurance claim problems. Their professionalism and outstanding quality earned them a promotion to the VIP team.

In 2008, Harlow took on a role as a Survey Response Editor (on call) at Western Wats, and in 2009, they worked as a Temp Worker on Two Federal Contracts for Spherion, specifically assisting with the Census.

Starting in 2012, Harlow worked at OrangeSoda as a Web Content Editor/Quality Assurance, where they performed proofreading and quality checks for websites and created new SEO content.

From 2016 to 2017, Harlow worked at Towers Watson's OneExchange as a Licensed Benefits Advisor. They advised retirees losing corporate health insurance on available Medicare plans, enrolled them in the plans, and provided post-enrollment customer service. They also wrote for the pod newsletter during the off season in 2016.

Most recently, Harlow worked at Big Leap as a Content Editor. They edited, proofread, and fact-checked marketing content for websites, ensuring all grammar, punctuation, spelling, spacing, and SEO specifications were met.

Throughout their career, Harlow has showcased strong research, writing, editing, and customer service skills.

Harlow Clark completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, with a focus on Writing, from Brigham Young University. Harlow then went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Writing from the University of Washington. Harlow attended Brigham Young University from 1979 to 1984 and the University of Washington from 1984 to 1987.
